The award recognises the continued commitment, expertise and hard work of the Shufflebottom team and celebrates the strength of Welsh manufacturing on a national stage.

The Made in Wales Awards recognise some of the most innovative, ambitious and forward-thinking manufacturers across the country, highlighting excellence in areas including growth, sustainability and operational performance.

For Shufflebottom, the award is particularly significant during its 40th anniversary year. Founded in 1986 and based in Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire, the business has spent four decades designing, manufacturing and supplying bespoke steel-framed buildings for customers across the agricultural, equestrian, industrial and commercial sectors.

As part of Embrace Steel Group, Shufflebottom plays an important role within a growing group of specialist steel-frame design and manufacturing businesses.

A second major award win in 2026

The Made in Wales Awards success follows Shufflebottom's earlier recognition at the Carmarthenshire Business Awards 2026, where the company was named Manufacturing Business of the Year.

Winning both awards in the same year represents a significant achievement for the business and provides further recognition of the standards being achieved by the team at its Carmarthenshire manufacturing facility.

The achievement is also a proud moment for Embrace Steel Group as we continue to support the development of strong, specialist UK manufacturing businesses.

Congratulations to everyone at Shufflebottom on this fantastic achievement.
