Project Progress Across Embrace Steel Group Sites

Recent weeks have seen strong progress across a number of key projects throughout the Embrace Steel Group, highlighting continued delivery and collaboration across multiple sectors.

These projects demonstrate the breadth of activity across the Group and reflect the commitment of all teams involved as each scheme continues to take shape.

In Wales, Shufflebottom works are advancing on a new steel-framed facility for DJ Davies / Coal Bunker Leisure Buildings. The six-bay production building will support the company’s expansion into leisure and modular products, with the structure now clearly showcasing its scale and modern design as internal fit-out continues.

At Mosslands School, Hambleton Steel is progressing well on the new three-storey education facility. Steel erection is underway on the sports hall, forming part of a wider scheme that will deliver high-quality learning and recreational spaces for around 1,500 pupils.

Shufflebottom are also in Swansea, with Phase 1 of the steel frame erection has been successfully completed at the Grand Hotel redevelopment. This milestone marks significant progress on the transformation of one of the city’s most recognisable buildings, which will introduce new accommodation, upgraded facilities and a rooftop bar.

Meanwhile, at New Covent Garden Market - Unit C2, the installation of the first truss represents an important step forward. This achievement continues Hambleton steels strong working relationship with VINCI Building UK on this major development.
