Over the past two months, Hambleton Steel has maintained strong momentum with a series of project wins across the education, industrial, logistics, commercial, and infrastructure sectors - further strengthening its reputation for delivering high-quality structural steel solutions nationwide.
Mosslands School Redevelopment (Wirral)
Hambleton Steel has been appointed to deliver the structural steel package for the redevelopment of Mosslands School, working with Willmott Dixon.
This major education project will provide a modern three-storey facility for around 1,500 pupils, including sports halls, theatre space, and outdoor pitches. Hambleton’s scope includes the primary steel frame alongside precast units, stairs, lift shaft, and fire protection systems.
Mountpark Ferrybridge (West Yorkshire)
At Ferrybridge, Hambleton Steel has secured works on the first phase of the Mountpark redevelopment.
Partnering with GMI Construction Group, the scheme will transform a former power station site into a major logistics hub. Hambleton will deliver steelwork for two units totalling approximately 110,000 sq ft, with completion scheduled for 2026.
Dirac Building, Cambridge
Hambleton Steel has been appointed to deliver over 600 tonnes of structural steelwork for The Dirac Building at St John’s Innovation Park.
This five-storey, column-free office building has been designed to support flexible working environments and targets high sustainability standards, including BREEAM ‘Excellent’.
Infinity Park Derby – Unit B1
Hambleton Steel has expanded its industrial portfolio with the award of Unit B1 at Infinity Park Derby, one of the UK’s leading advanced manufacturing and logistics hubs, spanning over 100 acres.
Hambleton will deliver a full design and build steel package, including the main frame, PFC ground beams, glazed frame support, and feature elements such as the entrance canopy.
Working with Bowmer and Kirkland Ltd, alongside BWB Consulting Ltd and Stephen George + Partners LLP, the scheme supports both immediate operational needs and long-term adaptability.
New Covent Garden Market – Unit C2 (London)
Hambleton Steel has secured a further project win at New Covent Garden Market, continuing its long-standing relationship with VINCI Construction.
The latest phase will see delivery of Unit C2 within the wider redevelopment of the UK’s largest fruit, vegetable, and flower market, a near 500,000 sq ft facility supporting around 200 businesses.
Having been involved in the scheme for over a decade, Hambleton’s continued role reflects its ability to deliver consistently across complex, long-term developments. The scope includes structural steelwork, metal decking, precast stairs, cold rolled systems, open grid flooring, and intumescent coatings.
